KEVO..Where Hard Work Happens

KEVO, also know as a basketball academy where people from all around come under one roof to train and share our experience about the game and to be passed onto our future generations. Lately had been a really hectic week for us as we had so many tourney in progress, the latest edition was the Under21 Dun KG Tunku cup held in SS3.

Unfortunately we only managed to bring back Silver this year but nevertheless we will definitely come back with a BANG!! next season and gain back our glory in the SS3 area.
KEVO Under 21 Team

Silverware~

Now with my coach being heavily committed in his trainings for the up coming ASEAN University Games, me + Voon "Paul Pierce" Hoe + Justin "Rondo" Toh were given the chance to coach the juniors while in his absents. Coaching is certainly not easy *now I know how it feels like when coach shouted at me in practice!! Today marks the 2nd day of me being a trainer, for once I'm not the person running up&down but the person timing it! haha

Warm Up
Coach Yio Lin Chung, Father of KEVO

Coaching is fun and we get to see a bigger picture from actually doing it in person, always have a dream to create my own team someday..But not now, now I need to work harder and work on my game to be able to contribute for the team in game time.
Let's all work towards our goals into achieving greatness, on and off the court.. Nothing comes for free, only through hard work and determination. Finals of ISKL is in sight, we will not come back with another silver again because we are going all the way to the top this time~ That's all for now, off to study for my final exam happening this entire week..FML~

Let's go Dragons, Let's GO !!

My team captain Mr. Justin had VIP tickets for matches of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) at MABA stadium, according to the website the tickets are worth RM400++ *woots~ We went for 2weeks straight already and enjoying every minute of it, especially when Dragons wins a possession and the commentator says "Dragon's Ball.." *sounds wrong yet again*. 1st game was Singapore Slingers vs. KL Dragons
                                                                             VS.

It was a very tight match all the way to the 4th quarter, but in the end KL Dragons won the match. It's funny how we get excited for a dunk here, got me thinking what if I was watching NBA live.. Think I'll lose my voice~ haha

One thing that I need to highlight is the commentator SUCKS big time, was he even thinking when he is talking through the mic?! He totally tarnished M'sia image with his dumb comments & no sense of professionalism. His comments are so buyers, even the Dragons did not score and he could say "What an amazing play!!" Dude!! They missed the ball & no score, what's so amazing bout that?? The game would have been so much better without his voice~
Atmosphere was good though and i really enjoyed my time there, in between quaters & time-outs they have cheerleaders to please the crowd too so you are always entertained just like our Mr. Yong Jun~ Here's a preview of it : -

Food, What More Introduction You Need??!!

One's emotions, One's sin are all determined by that 1 thing in life.. the big FOOD word! We can't live without it *even if we can it's just for 3 days, we crave for it all the time and being able to stuff down 12 slices of pizza in an hour's time is not being "Glutton"..That's SKILL right there with an exclamation mark! I for one is a big eater and I'm always searching for great noms all around town along with my Ninjas.
The Apartment, Curve
Salmon Steak + Lamb Rib *Yums*

I love steaks, so headed down to The Curve for a meal. Ambiance in this restaurant is really cozy as they have candle lit tables all around and have really good service. Couples are recommended to bring your loved 1 here for a romantic meal, you'll not regret it.
What's a complete meal without desserts right??! Finally got to eat this fondue thingy at Haagen Dazs with my Ninjas.. I totally love it as my ninjas know I'm a person who likes sweet stuffs~ Still think that they should give us more chocolate dip.
Everyone knows this brand, it's so popular it's like the next Big Thing after McDonalds. A place to get a good cup of coffee, with free WiFi, great place to hang out with your buddies, but DEFINATELY NOT A PLACE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK~ You'll most probably end up doing something else but your homework, it'l be super unproductive.. I experienced this 1st hand, supposed to do assignments wit my group but look at what we ended up doin...

Jesmine caught staring into the air...

Look closely, my lappy is on Twitter page rather than my PowerPoint slides
<<<<

This girl Angeline, who is always hungry also confirm not searching for info on her phone that could help us in the project. My guess....Twitter also~

Ini budak also same, giving me the
"What?! I'm doin my work wert.." face. I'd bet my lappy that it's not PowerPoint slides too. She ended hacking into my Twitter and posted something into her favour~ *I have proof

Well what's more important is hanging out la, chillaxing is just great after a long hectic week fighting uphill battles. So no matter how good or how strong you still need company & help to achieve greatness, there's no such thing as a One-Man-Show ie. Ms Koshini

Adventures of the Zoo & Poo

My blog had been super dusty, but now I am back. So much happened within the time I was gone. College, Fooooood, Sports are just some that I'm able to think right now..After so long away from blogging, I feel so noob in this again. Let's start things off with my Zoo Trip with my Management class.

I have no idea what's the purpose we were there but we were determined to make it a productive outting, as I've never been to a Malaysian Zoo *because I'm a Singaporean But it was pretty fun because I have the greatest group mates in the world and that is my NINJAS. Her are some pics of the trip, the video will be out real soon so pls be patient alright ppl~

A proud Zoo Negara Volunteer..
On the bright side, we got FREE ADMISSION

We were tasked as the "Nursery" team, we got excited from the sound of that, WE REALLY DID!! But to our disappointment it was a real nursery, like nursery = green plants and fertilizers =.= The girls were actually hoping for baby animals or something like that. Well life is always unfair & full of surprises..right?!!
Irwin, Jayross, Charanmeet
When Is My Pumpkin Coming?? My price...........

Yeah no doubt it is full of pure greenery, but I consider our part is the most important because : without our plants >> no plants in zoo >> animals will feel weird >> animals go nuts >> animals die >> no Zoo Negara !!
Nature's Fan
Break Time

It was a tiring day but through hard times we really know who your true friends are, that's why companies send their employee to volunteer works to see their "true colors". Or not C.E.Os do it for FUN meh~

<<< See that, that's a pile of soil with various different type of poop mixed into it and it was our job to mix it. Let the shit stirring BEGIN!! they should invest in a shit stirring machine man, like those machine we use for baking..Yea!

Can I Have A Tissue Pls? "Roti Tissue" That Is

Earlier 2 blogs was about work in college, now it's time to loosen up with my bunch of friends. After filming we all got hungry *came to sense,we'r all always hungry rite?! So we found ourselves at a dessert shop in Taipan . Prices are reasonable but what's best is we get to hang out with each other on a rainy evening.
The Desserts

Yam Cake, Peanut Paste, Wheat, Chrysanthemum Cincau, Red Bean

   Both long-haired,
     Both from Kadet Bomba,
Both showing the same hand signs..
Non-other then our very own :
            Jesmine & Shin Yee

 Both short-haired,
Both holding spoon on right hand,
     Both smiling,
With Shin Yee's hand in the way showing :
           "Lame till gonna die" sign
Non-other then our very own :
                 Jayross & Brian

Right after we all finished up our own bowl of dessert, we started thinking of what to eat next!! *I know, how GLUTTON!! We ended up our asses at Kayu, the huge corner-shop mamak at Taipan. According to our Ms. Subang a.k.a Lim Shin Yee, " They have the world's longest Roti Tissue ! " So we decided to give it a try.
ARRRRGGGHHH...So Hu Ge!!

Well it certainly did not disappointed us, it really was huge. Imagine..a roti which uses 3 nasi briyani plate?! Like WTF?! haha. It'l be nice to have this piece of thing to munch on when your watching a movie. If they provide delivery services, they'd need a freaking lorry just to ship this to you!

Assignments Pt. II - Operation : "NINJA"

This is by far the most fun assignment being handed to me, well what can I say? I have the best teammates in the whole wide world *abit drama But that's just how I view it though, if I had vision and they do not follow also problem.. So credit goes to all my teammates, thank you all for making it happen, you ppl ROCK!!

Lots of funny things happened during the filming, so basically it was a fun experience more than a lame ass work.. When the video was done, we added a lil' flavor to it. Having our ending credits to our Eng lecturer..haha. Well we always get irritated by her, cause when she asks a ques & you choose to answer.. Your answer will always be wrong. SO... we created a song for her, Usher's - OMG. Like how the Hitz.FM morning crew do it, it goes~ Ka Ka Ka Ka Ka..Oh..KAMALA!! oh oh oh oh oh~  Here's the video, enjoy. Cheers~

Well it's been awhile since i blogged and finally I had the time to do so today, 1st of all..Training canceled *YAY! So i get to rest more on a lovely but raining Saturday morning. Things had been hectic in college man, so many things to follow up!! Case studies, individual/group work, sports is all just part of college life, guess i'll have to live with that. Well here are some interesting things about assignments, u get to know your group members more & it really boost someone's confidence level if your effort is recognized by other groups. So this is what I hav for you guys so far..

Gotta' show love to these under privileged kids/old folks..Black Eyed Peas sang bout it too..Where Is The Love??

What Does This Look Like?

New Grill House In Town!!

Another week just blown past, seems like time is catching up on us.. Time moves faster when we'r in a rush or doing fun stuff, but you'll always see it crawl right under your nose when your in lectures/work *dislike. A super hot sunday as usual, decided to make the best out of it by sweating it out with my exceptionally lazy gf..
When for a session of badminton with Gee & some of her close friends, came across this very racist sign :
No Black Shoes

It got me thinking,
What if my badminton shoes are black??
So next time if your getting any shoes better think twice on the color that you choose..

Grill, charcoal, chicken wings.. what do they have in common?! This looks like a session of barbecue, the wholesome tasty-ness of flame grilled poultry and some burnt pineapples just makes my mouth water thinking about it. Weather was so friendly that it gave us a totally dry day.. 6 p.m struck, me as usual the forced "Fire - Starter" for the grill, got the party started.
Starting Fire 101
Starting Fire 101

Being blessed to be in the 21st century, with all the modern stuff around me. Utilize it people, raise fire the 21st century way!! With the use of modern technology, we no longer need to use old fashion method to raise fire ie. fan it, blow it~ *I'm sure after this post, Satay sellers will be using my method too Took me only few minutes to get it started..."Let There Be Fire ! "
Main Grill

With the existence of fire, the kitchen is ready and Chef Yee is open for business. Brought all the raw food out and on to the grill, next destination....My stomach!!

Fire Testing

Bonnie & Clyde
Chef Lee on the Baby Grill

With the participation of my sidekick - Chef Lee, everybody was lining up placing their orders to have a go at what's cooking! With Chef Yee & Chef Lee behind the stove, every food that comes off the stove is "Grilled To Perfection" It's a code that we both practice every time we barbecue.
With great fire control skill, you know there will be no uncooked food served on your plate.. So eat with peace and enjoy your smoked food, you'll be beggin' for more chicken wings after the 1st piece.
