KEVO..Where Hard Work Happens

KEVO, also know as a basketball academy where people from all around come under one roof to train and share our experience about the game and to be passed onto our future generations. Lately had been a really hectic week for us as we had so many tourney in progress, the latest edition was the Under21 Dun KG Tunku cup held in SS3.

KEVO Under 21 Team

Silverware~

Now with my coach being heavily committed in his trainings for the up coming ASEAN University Games, me + Voon "Paul Pierce" Hoe + Justin "Rondo" Toh were given the chance to coach the juniors while in his absents. Coaching is certainly not easy *now I know how it feels like when coach shouted at me in practice!! Today marks the 2nd day of me being a trainer, for once I'm not the person running up&down but the person timing it! haha

Warm Up
Coach Yio Lin Chung, Father of KEVO

Coaching is fun and we get to see a bigger picture from actually doing it in person, always have a dream to create my own team someday..But not now, now I need to work harder and work on my game to be able to contribute for the team in game time.
Let's all work towards our goals into achieving greatness, on and off the court.. Nothing comes for free, only through hard work and determination. Finals of ISKL is in sight, we will not come back with another silver again because we are going all the way to the top this time~ That's all for now, off to study for my final exam happening this entire week..FML~

Paper + Scribbling = Masterpiece

Presenting....
          The Opening Of...

Rou Yi's latest investment after poker & mahjong.. Her own book shop!! Situated strategically right in front of SMK Kota Kemuning, beside the area's popular mamak shop "SMC". From huge collections of comics, multiple stationaries, magazines, Hello Kitty stuffs.. and of course the all time favourita Yo-Yo ice & also not forgetting the miles-away fragrant Curry Fish-balls..Yum yum ^^

Today is the official opening so things were rather flimsy, it's like the 1st day at school. But it wasn't that bad till the extend that we need to kill each other to survive, traffic flow in & out the shop is still on a positive response.
Large Collections of Comics
Where's my scanning light?!!!

Actually playing DoTA~ haha
Besides books & stationaries, this shop also brings me back old memories of my childhood with the sales of old-school junk foods *like seriously OLD-SCHOOL tit-bits!! Bika's chicken flavored potato chips, choki-choki choco sticks, mamee *just to name a few are all available. Use to buy all these junks from the back of an indian man's bicycle after school hours in front of Alma Mater.
Choco Sticks
Mamee + Bika = Paradise!!

Rou Yi's Balls = Curry Fish-balls~
Yo-Yo Ice

Ok probably Rou Yi's balls sound really wrong, but without a doubt the curry is nice and I bet once you smell it you'll be eager to try it. If it's too spicy, guess what?! They sell ice-cool Yo-Yo ice on the side to cool down the temperature on a scorching hot day.

Be sure to pay this shop a visit people when you need to get ur ID photo-stated, pen ran out of ink or even just feeling a lil' hungry.. They've got all you need under one roof, a new page turner in town. This post is dedicated to Rou Yi & family, wish ya'll "business lucky dragon" (Sang Yi Heng Long *cantonese)

Mahjong Night

It's been awhile, hands start to itch, the need to shuffle tiles on that green 4 edge table, and the adrenalin from what the next tile being thrown by the opposite hand..sigh. It's a perfect exercise well, so to speak, does not make u lose weight , improves your eye's concentration, quicken responses and calculation. The usual gang get together for a session , but this time without my Poker clan ~boo~
Hui Xian going at it~

3 players will get the game started, i wouldn't tag mahjong as gambling cos I take is more as a strategy game, makes us think on how to win a round fast or even play defense in not allowing our opponent get the upper hand. After few hours of intense brain work out by the girls came a comment that made that moment of my life miserable, the very fake question of "Dear, you hungry not?" There & than I knew i'm gonna be the usual delivery boy, once I said yes the rest started to place their orders..

Came back with Fuel (foor for empty stomach), even got a free apple pie from the McD waitress after some mild flirting by asking "Hari Raya kerja lagi?!" Amazing, that sentence got it done~haha. She's must be in a really good mood!
Food That Got Us Going All Nite~
Session Goes On After Half-Time....
Xian : Lai liao la..gona win this round also~
Yi : C'mon, throw me the card I want!!

I very long never play Poker le.. Since the start of college I've always been so busy with assignments, group meetings till I neglected my Poker clan.. Dun worry people, this weekend we poker gau gau~ cos Thurs hols, Fri no class, Sat + Sun = Weekends YAY!! Finally, long weekend..
